The light from Her eyes fills empty space,
She laughs without reason or rhyme,
She looks best with a smile upon her face,
She is beautiful, but is she mine?
It’s Hard to resist her charm and grace,
In her Christ brightly shines,
She can bring color to any place,
She is beautiful, but is she mine?
The Pearl above her heart betrays her Gift,
It will not fall before swine,
I hope in our friendship there is never a rift,
She is beautiful, but is she mine?
She floods every moment full of Hope,
With her one forgets Time,
She is not one to sit and Mull or Mope,
She is beautiful, But is she mine?
That light I do not wish to smother,
And I feel… Though I may be blind,
That she may be meant for another,
She is beautiful, but is She mine?
Clawing Through the depths of my confused Soul,
Is No Flash, no Prophetic sign,
Only a question “What is my end goal?”
She is beautiful, But She’s God’s not mine.
